Triumph introduced the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition earlier in May to celebrate its association with the James Bond franchise. The British motorcycle manufacturer has followed it up with another Bond Edition model, this time based on the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. Both Tiger 900 and Scrambler 1200 will be seen performing thrilling stunts in the latest installment of the long-running Bond series, titled “No Time to Die.” Daniel Craig will be seen reprising his role as James Bond for the fifth and the last time when the movie hits the theaters this October.
Just like the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition, the Bond-themed Tiger 900 wears a blacked-out look. However, it features a matt black color instead of a gloss finish. The Sapphire Black paint scheme is augmented with gold accents and graphics, including the 007 insignia on the tank, which doesn’t look very appealing in our opinion. The rest of the parts like the frame, headlight finishers, side panels, sump guard, pillion footrest hangers, auxiliary lamp shrouds, and engine guards are all finished in black as well.
The special edition is based on the 2021 Tiger 900 Rally Pro which is a more off-road-oriented version of the model. It is powered by Triumph’s brilliant three-cylinder 900cc engine that produces 94 horsepower and 64 lb-ft of torque. The Tiger 900 Bond Edition also gets a premium Arrow Silencer along with a set of Michelin Anakee Wild tires for better off-road performance. Additionally, it features heated rider and pillion seats with Bond Edition branding and a special 007 animation for the TFT screen. The billet machined handlebar clamp also is individually numbered to set it apart from the standard version. The Triumph Tiger 900 Bond Edition is limited to just 250 units, but the price and availability are yet to be announced.
